AFC Urgent Care offers convenient evening and weekend hours to fit your schedule with most insurance plans accepted. Our state-of-the-art center features a comprehensive suite of services such as laboratory tests, vaccines, and digital x-rays. We also offer additional services including occupational medicine, workers’ compensation cases, DOT physicals, immigration physicals, as well as school, sports, and camp physicals for patients in Aberdeen, Matawan, and the surrounding communities.
AFC Urgent Care has taken significant precautions to keep patients and staff safe. Our centers are cleaned frequently throughout the day in order to disinfect surfaces; including through the use of electrostatic sprayers that effectively sanitize on a touchless basis. We periodically treat all surfaces with a fogging/spraying service called BioProtect to create a microscopic shield on all surfaces that destroys microbes on contact. We have installed multiple new air filters in our centers to reduce airborne contaminants in addition to new iWave systems inside the ductwork at our centers to further improve the indoor air quality. We have also installed partitions to separate the waiting room from the medical reception.
In addition to practicing social distancing in our waiting rooms by having patients sit at least six feet apart, we encourage all patients to wait in their cars until our front desk calls to let those patients know when to re-enter the center. Each member of our clinical staff is equipped with the proper personal protective equipment, including gloves, gowns, face-masks, face-shields, hair bonnets, and shoe coverings in order to provide our patients with thorough and safe care.
Patients exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 are evaluated in designated isolation rooms in order to avoid cross-contamination. After such a visit, isolation rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and not used for a designated period of time to ensure safety. If you are experiencing a cough, fever, or shortness of breath, please call our center from the parking lot prior to entering our center. Our staff will be able to provide guidance and appropriate protective gear for your visit.
We look forward to being of service. Please stay safe and continue to practice social distancing.
